加拿大學生補助金 計畫
加拿大總理杜魯多近日宣布加拿大學生補助金的計劃，用以支持學生，包括支持學生們服務所在的社區，並獲得工作經驗。
杜魯多表示，因為COVID-19疫情，上學學生和應屆畢業生面臨著前所未有的挑戰，工作職位減少，很多實習和社區服務的職位被取消。同時，對非營利機構的服務需求正在增加，並有成千上萬的加拿大人希望參與解決，服務補助金計畫為學生們提供機會。
杜魯多在記者會上宣布，啟動加拿大學生服務補助金（Canada Student Service Grant，CSSG），為自願到社區服務應對COVID-19疫情的專上學生和應屆畢業生提供支持，同時獲得有價值的經驗。CSSG將為這些誌願者提供一次性的補助金，根據他們服務的小時數，支付$1,000至$5,000元。

要找到在大流行期間尋求幫助的非營利組織，專上學生和應屆畢業生可以使用，近期推出的全新“I Want to Help”平台。
根據總理辦公室提供的資訊，CSSG由WE Charity負責管理，誌願者每完成100個小時，可獲得$1,000元。最多500個小時，獲得最高$5,000元。
申請加拿大學生補助金的資格
- 年齡在30歲以下的加拿大公民、永久居民或難民身份的學生
- 註冊或就讀在2020年春季、夏季或秋季學期的認證學校
- 應屆畢業生（不早於2019年12月）或在海外學習目前住在加拿大的學生
註冊申請
請最晚於2020年8月21日前註冊申請才能得到補助金
最晚於2020年11月6日前提交完整的申請
計算的小時數必須在2020年6月25日至10月31日之間
加拿大將投資$4,000萬元 Mitacs為學生提供5,000個實習機會
杜魯多說，加拿大將投資$4,000萬元，通過Mitacs為學生提供5,000個實習機會。
Mitacs是一個非營利組織，在各種行業的中小企業與各大學之間建立合作關系。
杜魯多還宣布，通過“加拿大夏季工作計劃”，為15至30歲的年輕人創造10,000個新的就業機會。政府將為此投入額外$6,000萬元，將目前的7萬個職位，增加到8萬個。這個計劃是給予雇主工資補貼，以便雇主們可以給年輕人工作經驗，並幫助他們發展就業市場需要的技能。
他說，將透過“學生工作安置計劃”為應屆畢業學生提供另外20,000個工作崗位。為此，政府將投入$1.86億元，為加拿大各地的專上學生在他們的學習領域獲得有償工作經驗。這筆投資是在今年4月宣布的$8,000萬元以上追加的。
其他重要支持項目
1. 政府將向年輕人數字技能計劃（DS4Y）增加撥款$4,000萬元，幫助向專上學院的畢業生獲得專業工作經驗。
2. 通過年輕人就業和技能策略增加撥款$3,400萬元，創造3500個新的就業和實習職位，這是在今年4月宣布的$1.53億元撥款上追加上，主要支持需要高的行業如衛生、社區服務、信息技術和幫助其他行業恢復。
3. 為Computers for Schools Plus(CFS+)計劃提供$670萬元，為學校、圖書館、非營利組織、原住民社區、低收入加拿大人提供電腦和電子設備。
4. 通過Business+Higher Education Roundtale(BHER)創造5000至10000個新的工作相關學習機會。BHER將啟動一個全國挑戰，要求學生開發創造性的解決方案以應對加拿大當前和未來行業需求。這項全國學生挑戰賽將幫助加拿大的中小型企業聯系加拿大的下一代人才。
5. 4月，聯邦政府宣布了一項$90億元的計劃，以幫助加拿大的學生。最新宣布的加拿大學生服務補助金（CSSG）、I Want to Help平臺，以及Mitacs,DS4Y，CFS+，BHER等計劃都在90億元撥款下。
當時，政府啟動了加拿大緊急學生福利計劃（Canada Emergency Student Benefit）。這個計劃是在5月到8月期間，每月給學生$1,250元，照顧別人或有殘障的學生每月獲得$1,750元。
在加拿大夏季工作計劃外，杜魯多還宣布為年輕人創造76,000個工作機會。
